Samuel W. Wahl Recreational Trail

To reach the Recreational Trail, turn right on the first dirt road after the Entrance Gate and drive approximately 1/3 mile to the trail head and parking area. 

About the Trail

The Samuel W. Wahl Recreational Area is a 580-acre tract owned by the City of Lubbock on the north side of Lake Alan Henry. The Recreational Trail is Phase I of a multi-phased Trails Master Plan for the lake. The trail is six-feet wide and is 2.5 miles in length.... click on the link below for additional details.
